How do I contact the club?

Does the club need volunteers?
Volunteers are always needed. Helping with test sessions
and competitions, preparing an article for the newsletter, acting as an ice
monitor, helping with accounting for competitions, are examples. |

Who can sign entry forms for competitions?
Any officer for the current year. It is suggested that you
contact the corresponding secretary or president first. If mailing the
application to one of the officers, PLEASE CALL FIRST to make sure you have
correct address and to confirm that the officer will be available to sign. |

What qualifications do I need to trial
Judge?
You must be sixteen years of age or older, a registered
member of the USFS, in the category of eligible or reinstated person, and
have had some skating experience. |

What is a critique?
At the request of a skater's coach, a judge will critique
the skater's figures, moves in the field, program or dance before a test or
competition and give their opinion. |

May I skate in I.S.I. and USFS shows and
competitions?
Yes, if you first check with the club sanctions officer,
and make sure that the show or competition is sanctioned. THIS IS VERY
IMPORTANT. THIS SANCTION MUST BE POSTED IN A PUBLIC PLACE AT THE RINK. |

May I accept money for a commercial or
advertisement?
Yes, but a skater sponsorship contract must be obtained
from USFS headquarters and notification sent to your club sanction officer,
local sanction officer and Midwestern Vice Chairman as soon as possible. |
